It’s always sad to lose people who brought us joy through their love of music. Recently, the contemporary jazz world lost the talents of Rohn Lawrence (Dec. 30) and Nick Colionne (Jan. 1, 2022). It’s a jam in the afterlife. It’s always my hope to see as much jazz is alive news as jazz obituaries….
